Ji Soo is receiving comparisons to actors Kim Woo Bin and Lee Jong Suk, as the premiere of the teen series "Sassy, Go Go," swiftly approaches. On September 29, the Korean outlet TV Report compared the "Sassy, Go Go" star with the popular models-turned-actors who experienced their breakout roles in "School 2013."

"The new KBS drama, 'Sassy, Go Go,' showcases the cold-blooded charisma of Ji Soo, captivating netizens," said the writer for TV Report.

Ji was noted for his composure during the filming process and ability to segue from intense dramatic scenes from his lighthearted personality.

The report also provided a breakdown of his "Sassy, Go Go" character, Seo Ha Joon. Ha Joon is a psychologically damaged teen who distances himself from his peers.

The character could bear similarities to Ji's  "Angry Mom" role, Go Bok Dong. His nuanced portrayal of the flawed pupil garnered positive attention from audiences and critics, serving as his breakout role.

While the article does not detail the rationale behind the comparisons between the "Sassy, Go Go" star and Kim Woo Bin or Lee Jong Suk, it is apparent that the correlation was made due to the similarities in the K-Drama characters that led to their meteoric rise.

Kim appeared in several roles before garnering widespread attention in "School 2013," opposite Lee Jong Suk.

The real-life friends would go on to star in other pinnacle teen roles including Choi Young Do in "The Heirs" and Park Soo Ha in "I Can Hear Your Voice."

Audiences will have the opportunity to witness the K-Drama return of Ji Soo, when "Sassy, Go Go" premiers on October 5.
