'Joseon Exorcist’ Cast Jang Dong Yoon, Kim Dong Jun, and More Confirmed to Appear in ‘Running Man’
Before its much-awaited premiere, the cast of "Joseon Exorcist" will be having their special appearance in the famous Korean variety show "Running Man."
The Cast of "Joseon Exorcist" to Take the Challenge with the "Running Man" Team
Actors Jang Dong Yoon, Park Sung Hoon, Kim Dong Jun, and Geum Sae Rok are all confirmed to appear in "Running Man." And on Feb. 23, SBS shared that the said actors just finished filming their episode last Feb. 22.
Meanwhile, the upcoming SBS historical drama "Joseon Exorcist" will be airing on March 22 at 10:00 p.m. (KST). The fantasy-historical drama is expected to take place after the Joseon dynasty was established. It will depict the story about the evil spirits who appear again in the present after being killed by the royal family.
Jang Dong Yoon as Prince Chungnyeong
"School 2017" actor Jang Dong Yoon will be portraying the character of Prince Chungnyeong, a smart and handsome man whose only interest is to learn academics. The story will start as the prince started to experience relevant problems caused by the demonic spirits. And as one of the persons with authority and the privilege of living in the kingdom, Chungnyeong is ready to fight against the bad spirits in order to protect his people.

Joining him in the series is actor Kam Woo Sung, who will be playing the role of King Taejong, a strong-headed and powerful king. Because of the fact that he helped his father in building the Joseon dynasty, he became proud of what he had done, making him live in greed. Little did the other people in the palace know, their king had killed people during the founding of Joseon. Meanwhile, King Taejong has two sons who are known as the princes in the palace, Prince Chungnyeong, and Crown Prince Yangnyeong.
The role of the crown prince will be played by actor Park Sung Hoon. He is always living his life with oozing confidence. But he also spends most of his life experiencing chronic anxiety because he wants to be appreciated by his father, King Taejong. Prince Yangnyeong tries to do his best in proving his ability in front of the King, but still, he has never been recognized by his father.
Kim Dong Jun will be portraying the role of Byeo Ri, and actress Geum Sae Rok is expected to play Hye Yum.
Meanwhile, the drama already released some stills to excite the viewers on what to look forward to in the series. The photos showed the intense rivalry between the two princes, making it clear that they are not really on good terms.
Recently the drama also unveiled its first-ever teaser and already gained so much attention from the viewers. But it only takes a few more days, and you can finally add "Joseon Exorcist" on your drama list!
