The jTBC drama, "D-Day" continued its thrilling account of disaster-ridden Seoul with heart-pounding surgical scenes, followed by a romantic interlude between Kim Young Kwang and Jung So Min.

Episodes nine and ten served as a transition point for the series, as the medical and emergency services teams aided those in need.

Lee Hae Sung (Kim Young Kwang) placed his career as a talented surgeon on the line, as he repeatedly defied the orders of Mirae Hospital chief, Park Gun  (Lee Kyoung Young). This ultimately led to his expulsion from the hospital, putting him in the precarious position of helping to triage patients who were directly received in chaotic streets of the city.

The weakest patients, who were at risk of perishing as Mirae Hospital, continued to deal with its shortage of resources, were transported to other facilities. There were several touching scenes, as the doctors battled over who would be best served by leaving Mirae and whether or not the hospital should remain open, under its dire conditions.

Jung Ddol Mi (Jung So Min) and Hae Sung shared a tender moment when they freed their ambulance from mud. While their brief kiss provided a romantic interlude, their relationship was interrupted when Ddol Mi boarded the plane with the patient, returning to Busan.

"D-Day" airs on jTBC on Fridays and Saturdays at 10:40 p.m. KST. It is simulcast with English-language subtitles on Viki.
