'One Night' Reveals Incidents Behind Kim Soo Hyun And Sohee Dating Rumors
Dating rumors surrounding Kim Soo Hyun and former Wonder Girls member Sohee (Ahn So Hee) were recently dispelled by Key East Entertainment. However, SBS' entertainment news program "One Night" (Midnight TV Entertainment) revealed the incidents that may have heightened speculation centered on the popular stars.
According to the a segment aired during the October 21 broadcast of "One Night," Sohee attended a VIP screening of the film, "Secretly, Greatly," but was likely not invited by the 27-year-old "My Love from the Star" actor. During the time, Sohee was signed to JYP Entertainment.
While it seems like an insignificant coincidence, her attendance at the exclusive event followed previous incidents where Kim Soo Hyun displayed his love for the Wonder Girls.
"One Night" noted that Kim has previously performed a rendition of the Wonder Girls hit, "Noboby" during fan meetings.
In February 2014, the K-pop idol-turned-actress signed with BH Entertainment. Her departure from Wonder Girls, along with Sunye, was officially announced prior to their August 2015 comeback. Sohee later left BH Entertainment, signing an exclusive contract with Key East in September 2015.
Key East, the agency which represents both Kim Soo Hyun and Sohee categorically denied their dating rumors.
On October 21, Key East issued a statement addressing their alleged relationship, following an article published by TV Report. According to the article, the popular stars had been dating for a lengthy period, before they outed by neighbors. TV Report quoted unnamed sources who resided near the stars, who corroborated information that they were seen leaving their retrospective apartments.
Key East swiftly responded to the report.
'We've confirmed with Kim Soo Hyun and Ahn So Hee and the news is not true," said a spokesperson for Key East. "It is true that they know each other, but they are not dating."
These are not the first dating rumors to surround either star. Sohee was previously rumored by netizens to be romantically linked with Big Bang's G-Dragon, but those claims were not substantiated. In 2015, netizens also speculated that Kim Soo Hyun was in a relationship with 2NE1's Sandara Park. However, neither side confirmed their relationship.
