Over the past month, everyone has been talking about "Sister Wives" star Meri Brown's affair which turned out to be a case "catfishing." Meri is the first of Kody Brown's four wives who all appear in the show.

Fans anticipate to hear the whole story of the affair from Meri herself in the "Sister Wives" season finale in Nov. 15.

"Meri, who legally divorced 'Sister Wives' star Kody Brown in September 2014 (the two remain 'spiritually married'), revealed that she had been lured into a online relationship earlier this year by a woman posing as a man," Entertainment Tonight earlier reported.

The woman who posed as a man and pursued a relationship with Meri is Jackie Overton, who was arrested in Osage County, Oklahoma in October for failure to appear in court for three separate traffic violations.

In an earlier statement to People, Meri admitted that she has been a victim of "catfishing," or an operation where a person pretends to be someone else to be in a relationship with a person he or she has met online.

"During an emotional and vulnerable time earlier this year, I began speaking with someone online who turned out to be not who they said they were," the "Sister Wives" star previously said in a statement about her affair.

"I never met this person and I regret being drawn into this situation, but I hope because of it I can help others who find themselves in similar circumstances."

Hollywood Life reported that Kody's youngest wife and "Sister Wives" star Robyn allegedly knew that the affair was a case of "catfishing," but decided to keep quiet about it.

"One of Robyn's closest friends, Kendra Pollard-Parra, admitted to knowing about Meri's relationship earlier on, and told Robyn about it after fans of the show reached out to her with information about Meri's affair," the report wrote.

Robyn's reason for keeping quiet about the "catfishing" scheme is yet to be explained.

Meanwhile, Meri Brown's previous tweet in October earned a lot of attention from fans as it was posted after the "catfishing" incident has been made public.

"Put on the full armor of God to that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes."
