Ji Sung's Heart Skipped A Beat When He Saw Lee Bo Young Kiss Lee Jong Suk
Although they are getting married next week, actor Ji Sung said that it did make his heart skip a beat when he saw his bride-to-be Lee Bo Young kissing Lee Jong Suk in "I Hear Your Voice."
During an appearance on the KBS show "Happy Together 3," he admitted that the kissing scene moved him.
"When I watched Lee Bo Young and Lee Jong Suk's kiss, even I got the flutters," he said.
But as they are both actors, they know better than to be jealous. Kissing attractive actors is just part of their day job. They have never let their onscreen romances distract them from their real life relationship. And she has had her share of attractive co-stars including Lee Tae Sung and Ji Hyun Woo, while he co-starred with beautiful actresses such as Kim So Yeon and Choi Kang Hee.
"I watched the kiss scene with Lee Bo Young sitting next to me," he said. "While we watched that episode, she turned to me and warned me that the kiss scene was about to come up."
But he did not look away. Not did he say anything negative.
"Since it was part of the script, I understood," said Ji Sung.
The actors, who plan to marry in a simple ceremony on the 27th, dated for six years. The fact that romanced Eugene in "Save the Last Dance for Me," the first drama they starred in together, did not stop them from dating after the drama ended.
And although they had to weather break-up rumors when filming schedules kept them apart, their relationship has remained strong.
The couple decided to marry in the spring and announced their plans after the completion of "I Hear Your Voice" because Lee Bo Young did not want her news to detract from the show's success. That show's popularity was largely based on the public's love of the drama's main couple, Jang Hye Sung and Park Soo Ha, played by Lee Bo Young and Lee Jong Suk.
When Lee Bo Young announced the news online, she wrote, "For all of you who are deeply into the Hye Sung and Soo Ha relationship, this may seem like I'm pouring cold water on it so I am really sorry for this announcement. But I had to release the news now because I don't really have much time to get ready for my wedding. I guess Hye Sung and Soo Ha will remain somewhere happily living a life in everyone's hearts."
Lee Jong Suk plans to attend the wedding but when it's time to kiss the bride, it will be Ji Sung doing the kissing and everyone else's heart may skip a beat.
