Khloe Kardashian has contracted a staph infection, which was allegedly blamed on her constant visits to Lamar Odom while he was in coma, and now she's reportedly spending more time with boyfriend James Harden.

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, the staph infection was being used by Khloe Kardashian to stop seeing Lamar Odom at the hospital while he still recovers from the ill effects of the coma.

"Khloe has been torn for weeks between her husband Lamar and her boyfriend James," the article said. "Things came to a head earlier this month when Harden reportedly had enough of the back and forth and told Khloe to choose between him and Lamar."

From all indications, meanwhile, James Harden was nothing but a very supportive boyfriend while Khloe Kardashian cared for Lamar Odom while he's in coma, but the former Los Angeles Lakers forward allegedly has a hidden agenda.

"Lamar reportedly wants Khloe back and has been trying his hardest to make that happen," it added. "That could be why the Houston Rockets star finally put his foot down on Khloe literally living in Odom's hospital room."

Khloe Kardashian, meanwhile, took to Twitter to post update regarding her staph infection.

"Staph infection is no joke. Mine was exacerbated by stress which is not a great combo. I'm under great medical care&receiving tons of love!" she wrote. "Please everyone take care of yourselves and pay attention to your bodies!! Be kind and loving to one another! It goes a long way!!"

Last month, Hollywood Life talked to an addiction expert who thinks that Khloe Kardashian allegedly shouldn't blame herself for Lamar Odom lapsing into coma.

"Loved ones of addicts will especially blame themselves. I am sure she felt responsible for his difficulties when they were still together," Steve Ornstein said. "'If only,' 'should have,' these words are killers and will haunt a person if they don't get the proper support."
