Forbes Out List Of Hollywood's Biggest Flop Movies Of 2015

Hollywood stars George Clooney, Johnny Depp, Reese Witherspoon, Adam Sandler, Mila Kunis, Hugh Jackman and Bradley Cooper have one thing in common this year, all of the stars' movies appeared in Forbes list of Hollywood's biggest flop movies of 2015. 

The list included only those movies which opened in more than 2000 theatres. It was compiled based on box office takings and estimated production budgets for films that were released in North America from January-October 2015, reported Reuters.

Topping the list was Bill Murray's "Rock The Kasbah" which grossed $2.9 million on an estimated $15 million production. Sean Penn's "The Gunman" followed with a box office collection worth $10.7 million as against the actual production cost of $40 million.

"Blackhat" stood third in the list with "Unfinished Business" and "Jem And The Holograms" finishing off the top five at fourth and fifth positions respectively.

Ryan Reynolds Self/Less bagged the sixth position in the list. Kristen Stewarts' "American Ultra" and Jac Efron's electronic dance music movie "We Are Your Friends" were featured next in line.

Bradley Cooper and Emma Stone starrer Hawaii-based romantic comedy "Aloha" secured ninth position in the list. The movie was among 2015's most- publicized misfires, with a $37 million return on an estimated $26.3 million production budget.

"Mortdecai" secured tenth position and "Pan" bagged eleventh position. Hot Tub Time Machine 2 also featured in the list and bagged twelfth position with Channing Tatum's "Jupiter Ascending" at thirteenth position.

Clooney's "Tomorrowland" grossed $209 million as against an estimated production budget of $190 million, excluding marketing costs. It was placed 14th on the list. Crimson Peak stood last in the list, according to Forbes.
