"The Master’s Sun" Cast and Crew Receive Sneakers from So Ji Sub And Earns Highest Viewer Ratings For The Finale

Jung Ga Eun, the actress who played Ahn Jin Joo, a busybody employee of the Kingdom Shopping Mall, took to Twitter to express her gratitude toward her co-star.

She posted, "I am a woman who has received a gift from So Ji Sub. Friendly Mister Ji Sub who bought sneakers for the entire cast and staff to thank us for the hard work as the final filming draws near~ I will cherish these sneakers forever."

Jung Gae Eun showed how much she loved the gift by posting photos where she is holding the shoes close to her face and even playfully planting a kiss on them. She also had a picture with the generous So Ji Sub who wore matching clothes.

Netizens commented on their jealousy of Jung Ga Eun and that So Ji Sub's consideration towards his workmates is admirable.

Meanwhile, according to AGB Nielsen Media Korea Research, the final broadcast of "The Master's Sun" that was aired October 3,  received 21.8% viewer rating. It surpassed the 20% mark with an increase of 2.1% from their 19.7% rating of the previous episode, breaking their own record.
