South Korean actor Kim Kang-woo temporarily stopped filming with his wife, Han Moo-young, on June 3 after receiving news that their son was seriously injured while playing soccer during a school sports day.

According to Naver, the incident was revealed in a video posted on Kim Kang-woo's official YouTube channel titled, "We Actually Stopped Filming While Making Pickled Cucumbers... The Great Pickled Cucumber Fiasco at Our House's Summer Kimjang."

The video documents a typical day for the couple, who had just finished grocery shopping and were preparing pickled cucumbers at home when they received the distressing phone call.
Han Moo-young spoke calmly into the camera after the call, explaining, "I'm going crazy because of him... He got hurt quite a bit; it seems like his pelvis is injured. They said we need to go to the hospital right away. He got hurt playing soccer."
Kim Kang-woo shared that the injury occurred during their eldest son's school sports day. Upon hearing the news, he said, "I will stop here for a moment," pausing filming to assess the situation. Han Moo-young then rushed to the hospital where their son was being treated.
Despite the emotional strain and with only two hours before he had to leave for Gyeongju for work, Kim resumed filming but admitted his mind was unsettled.
"Honestly, I don't know what state of mind I was in while filming," he said appearing visibly worn.
Reflecting on the difficulties of raising boys, Kim added, "You go through all sorts of things when raising a boy. I got injured playing sports when I was young too, but I don't know how badly this kid is hurt. It's not easy. Raising two boys." The family has not shared further updates on the child's condition since the hospital visit.
Recently, The Chosun Daily reported that Kim Kangwoo jokingly told his wife, Han Mu-young, to be careful because she has become a public figure among viewers of his YouTube channel.
The lighthearted exchange happened while they were shopping for ingredients, after Kim thought she was about to throw something out of the car window. Han playfully questioned whether their 600,000 subscribers could really be her fans, prompting laughter from both.
