The NBA February deadline may still be four months away, but the trade rumors this 2015 surrounding the Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah, who is said to be languishing under his new role, continue to persist.

The Chicago Bulls fan site Pippen Ain't Easy noted that Joakim Noah seems go have lost the energy that he's known for this season.

"He also doesn't seem to fit into the offensive direction the Bulls are moving in," it said. "The Bulls could trade him while he still has some value around the league."

Nevertheless, Joakim Noah still remains one of the NBA's great defenders, which would make him attractive to some teams (and explains the reason why his name always crops up in NBA trade rumors 2015).

"Last year he was playing through an injury and was never able to overcome it. He says he feels great now and had one of the best off-season's of his career physically," the article said. "He may not be a starter this season, but he will be able to anchor the second unit's defense and give Gasol plenty of rest."

However, that didn't stop the NBA trade rumors this 2015 about the Chicago Bulls and the Dallas Mavericks looking to sign a deal involving Joakim Noah.

According to David Thorpe when he guested on The Lowe Post, as shared by Chicago Sun-Times, Zach Lowe reported about the Dallas Mavericks showing interest in the Chicago Bulls big man.

David Thorpe said, "Joakim Noah is sitting there in the last year of his contract. I think his go-to would be Dallas, who's so desperate for that kind of energy again on defense. We know Rick Carlisle is so good at creating things and Joakim's such a great ball handler. I think he would be amazing there."
