Google gives everyone great gift ideas by revealing on its official blog, what is trending on Google Search in the US to help consumers shop smarter and give them ideas what their loved ones might actually like.

Hoverboards are famous too, overtaking searches for drones this year, becoming a hot toy this time. It has been trending since summer and soared up to 500 percent since July.

Google gift ideas in the apparel department, as per top apparel searches are adult onesies, Adidas Superstar, Levi's jeans, Shinola watches and Bomber jackets. When it comes to electronics, the list has smart TVs, smart watches, wireless headphones, "Halo 5" and instant cameras.

The new ugly sweater for Christmas are adult onesies, which is good news since consumers can get the Bomber jacket or the Adidas Superstar kicks they have been hiding from past years, wear them this season and still appear cool.
