‘Outlander’ Season 2 Trailer Released With 'Change The Past, Save Their Future' Tagline

The trailer of the second season of famous American-British drama series, "Outlander," was released on Tuesday, Dec. 1. "Outlander" Season 2 trailer is released with the tagline "Change the past, save their future" and set in France background.

The one minute long "Outlander" season 2 trailer kicks off from where the story ended in the season 1 finale, with Claire and Jamie in each other's arm while standing on a ship. "Let's talk about the future, and how we're going to change it," says Claire to Jamie as the pair is kneeling on a grave and busy streets of Paris are seen in the background, according to Christian Today.

Later Jamie is seen telling Claire that there is going to be a war, on which Claire replies that they have to stop it from happening in France as too much is at stake. Later the two are shown lying in a bed as Jamie touches Claire's big tummy that is carrying their first baby. Then the couple is seen all dressed up in Parisian attires, hosting a party, followed by a fight and battle with British soldiers.

Additional content, apart from "Outlander" season 2 trailer, will be released every day of the month of December, on the premium cable network. The content will include cast interviews, photos, holiday recipes etc. The "Outlander" Season 2 will eventually be released in spring next year, as reported by Seating Chair.

"Outlander" is series of novels by Diana Gabaldon, based on historic time travel. In 1945, a married World War 2 nurse Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe) gets transported to 1743, Scotland where she meets Highland warrior Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan).

The plot of season 2 is based on the second book of Gabaldon with title "Dragonfly in Amber." Claire and Jamie shed off their Scottish attire and are shown as rich aristocrats in France. They blend in with the Elite, looking out for Bonnie Prince Charles, who could help them to stop Jacobite rebellion and avert the killing in Culloden Moor.
