"The Walking Dead" has lost some of its luster this past season, and spoilers of season 6 hinted that a major character might be snuffed to get the ratings going.

This is not the first time that Maggie's death was first raised since in the comics, she tried to commit suicide in the woods after losing her family and failing to get pregnant.

Although in the comics, Maggie play a significant role as a leader and was one of the central characters (which means she wasn't killed off), the story arc of her character in the TV show is quite different from the comics.

"Fans of the AMC series have to wait until Season 6 returns in February for answers. As brutal as it sounds, killing the pregnant Maggie would help the show regain some of the tension it lost this past season," spoilers for "The Walking Dead" season 6 from Ocean Side Post revealed.

For now, however, the rumor about the pregnant Maggie's death remains just that, a rumor.

In other spoilers for "The Walking Dead" season 6, Jeffrey Dean Morgan told Entertainment Weekly that playing the foul-mouthed Negan is going to be a balance between staying true to the character and also pleasing the censors.

"Look, it's a speed bump," he said. "I'm not going to say it's an issue because they're working on it. We're going to push AMC - the plan is to push them as far as they can because it's who Negan is. He uses some colorful language. And I use some colorful language. And reading the comic, it's important."

He continued, "It's our intention that this character is going to leap off the pages of the comic book. It's very important that that's who it is. Some of the characters there's much more leeway, but Negan is a guy that you want to keep as true as possible, and that would be how I want to play him as well."

Watch out for more "The Walking Dead" season 6 spoilers which will be revealed here when they come along.
