The recently released drama, "Perfect Crown," starring IU and Byun Wooseok, has gained lots of attention with fans discussing about the show online. Although fans welcome the collaboration, their views regarding the quality of the performances especially that of Byun Wooseok remain varied.

In a review post on Pannchoa, Kim and Wooseok were referred to as a perfect pair, leaving the author satisfied, saying, "This is what we wanted for 'Perfect Crown'...!!!!" The post received a polarized reaction, showing that there are people who have different opinions about their performances.
In one of the comment threads in Nate Pann, one viewer noted, "But the most problematic in Perfect Crown was Byun Wooseok's acting though." One person commented, "Byun Wooseok can't f*cking act so no matter who you bring, he's still freaking bad." One user remarked, "Sneakily removing Byun Wooseok. How can he even be in the same crowd as god-Jiwon?" implying that Kim Jiwon's acting was of a superior caliber.

Another one said, "I hope Kim Jiwon could be paired with someone that's good at acting.." which implied that although Kim Ji Won was quite famous and talented, she did not seem to match perfectly with Byun Wooseok's acting skills according to some people.
Another user noted something about the fan groups of various idols in his post, mentioning, "Pann-girls hate IU so much but are fawning over Byun Wooseok? Wow!" indicating certain irregularities in the attitude of fans towards idols and actors.
