Han Ye Seul Takes A True Love Test In 'Madame Antoine'

In "Madame Antoine" the very lucky character played by Han Ye Seul is seduced by three attractive men. Each man want her to fall in love with him as part of a test to prove that true love exists. And given the attractive choices, whichever man she chooses, her character will ace the test.

Han plays Go Hye Lim aka Madame Antoine, a beautiful fortune teller. She claims to have a psychic connection with the tragic French queen Marie Antoinette but she's a fraud. It's easy for her to guess at someone's future but not because she sees visions. She's just a good judge of human nature. And she's a hopeless romantic, who believes in love.

Sung Joon, last seen in "High Society," plays a cynical psychologist named Choi Soo Hyun. He does not believe in love or anything else that cannot be measured by scientific standards. So, he engages her in a test to prove that love does not exist. To conduct the test he decides that three different types of men should  woo her.

He's the first and while he may not be the most charismatic of her suitors, he is a psychologist so he knows all about emotions and how to manipulate them.

The next test subject is his younger brother, the sweet, kind Choi Seung Chan, played by 2AM's Jung Jin Woon. Jung was last seen in "Marriage, Not Dating."

Gymnast-turned-actor Lee Joo Hyung plays the third suitor. Lee, last seen in "Naeil's Cantabile," plays the smart, sexy younger man. He's in the race to inspire protective feelings in Go Hye Lim. In real life he is 21 and Han Ye Seul, last seen in "Birth of a Beauty" is 34, so it's definitely a noona romance.

Han Ye Seul commented on her role as the lucky fortune teller in an interview with the Korean media outlet Sports Hankooki.

"I was mesmerized by the drama's unique subject," said Han.

And her attractive co-stars could also be an incentive.

Hong Jin Ah, who wrote "Beethoven Virus," "Marry Him If You Dare" and "King 2 Hearts" will write the screenplay. Kim Yoon Chul, who directed "My Name Is Kim Sam Soon," will direct. He worked with Sung Joon in "Can We Marry?"

"Madam Antoine" begins on January 22.

Can you predict which man she winds up with? Probably, but how she decides should be fun.
