'Reply 1988' Park Bo Gum Proposes To Hye Ri
"Reply 1988" Park Bo Gum made Hye Ri laugh because of a very rough edged proposal.
On the 16th episode of tvN Friday/Saturday drama "Reply 1988" broadcast on Jan. 16th (script Lee Woo Jung, director Shin Won Ho), Taek (played by Park Bo Gum) and Duk Sun (played by Hye Ri) enjoyed a date.
Taek was in the car when he gave Duk Sun a turtle that was made out of gold. He then heard Duk Sun say, 'What is this?" He responded, "It's a turtle." At the question posed, "What does that mean?" He said, "This is a forever love" he answered.
Duk Sun said, "Didn't you say you'd propose. Is this the end" and was in disbelief. Tae said, "No" and took his time. With that, Taek said, "Duk Sun, I love you." Duk Sun listened to an unexpected answer and smiled broadly.
Meanwhile, "Reply 1988" is the third of the reply series - "Reply 1997" and "Reply 1994." This is a comic family drama about five families who live in the same alley in 1988 in Seoul. The drama features Sung Dong Il, Lee Il Hwa, Ra Miran, Girls' Day Hye Ri, Ko Kyung Pyo, and Park Bo Gum.
