2013 SIA: Choi Jin Hyuk and Sooyoung Receive Best K-Style Awards Together

Actor Choi Jin Hyuk and Girls' Generation Sooyoung received a special award together.

In 2013 Style Icon Awards (SIA), which took place on October 24, 2013, in CJ E&M Center in Seoul and was aired live, Shin Dong Yup called the two's names for recipients of Best K-Style award.

Choi Jin Hyuk and Sooyoung rose on the stage and shared their comments.

Choi Jin Hyuk, who gained most of his fame from his role in MBC drama "Gu Family Book," said, "2013 is a speical year for me. I spent more than half of this year in han bok, and I feel very special for receiving this Best K-Style award. I will strive not to lose the beginner's mind."

Sooyoung said, "Thank you for giving me this special award. It's my first time receiving an award by myself. I thank my parents, Girls' Generation members, and SNSD fans."

"Style Icon Awards" premiered with MC Shin Dong Yup's comments. It is the only Korean awards ceremony that gives awards to people who have affected the lifestyle of many, suggesting a new paradigm and style in TV, culture and arts. This year was its sixth ceremony.

The awards ceremony was aired live in six Korean TV channels in addition to global Channel M and Mnet America in 11 countries, including the United States and Australia .
