Park's posts about her daily life and problems at home made the 6-pyeong unit, which had already been in the news for mold and other problems, a topic of public discussion.

Park Kyung-hye talked about her friend's upcoming visit on her YouTube channel. She said, "A very close male friend is coming to my house tomorrow. We plan to have dinner together at my place tomorrow, so I intend to clean up the house," per Naver.

When Justin from New York praised the room, she replied warmly, "It's not as bad as you thought, right?" She further clarified the nature of their relationship: "He is my English teacher. We are actually close friends, and we are working hard on our English lessons."

Park Kyung-hye also talked about how she made holiday food for her guest. She said, "When we were scheduling our schedule for the Lunar New Year, I asked him without much thought, 'What are you doing during the holidays?' and I remembered him jokingly saying, 'My family is all in New York, so I'm alone.' I thought, 'But I am Justin's Korean friend,' so I prepared the Lunar New Year food."

As reported by Sports Chosun, she talked about her living situation and how she helped her friend look for a new place to live. She also talked about her lease, saying, "I signed a one-year lease for my apartment." Regarding a potential extension, she confirmed, "I am going to move. Because I like cooking, but living here, there are no doors, so the smell of food doesn't go away."

Park said she liked living alone, even though there were problems with her apartment. She said, "I can be completely alone whenever I want. It is so nice to be able to study English or practice acting at my own pace whenever I want. And while looking at furniture, I realize, 'So this is the kind of person I am,' and I am finding myself."

The studio she lived in, which the outlet had written about before, had problems like mold on the ceiling, a rusty chest of drawers, and a broken circuit breaker cover. Fans have kept saying how much they appreciate her honesty and how realistic her portrayal of living alone is.

Park Kyung-hye's move signals the end of her time in that small Gangnam apartment.
