Lee Won Geun Offered Lead Role in Mystery Queen
Lee Won Geun (The Good Wife) has been offered a lead role in the new KBS drama Mystery Queen. Mystery Queen is about a married woman who loves mystery novels anddreams of becoming a cop that ends up working with a detective to solve cases.
Lee Won Geun would play the police detective. An offer is also out to Choi Kang Hee (Glamorous Temptation) for the role of our crime-solving ahjumma.
This is definitely a duo I did not picture together. Since the lead is a married woman, it doesn't sound like they would be a couple. And this is a case where I think that would be best. Just let them be crime-solving buddies.
Mystery Queen is scheduled to air in March on KBS.
