Health Issues Force Gu Hye Sun to Step Down from You Are Too Much
Gu Hye Sun has been forced to step down from her current weekend drama You Are Too Much due to health issues. Apparently, she suffered anaphylaxis due to a severe allergy which required emergency treatment. Her treatment and recovery conflict with the dramaand thus she will not be able to continue.
I'm saddened to hear this news, and I hope she gets excellent medical care has a swift recovery. I'm sure this is very difficult for her and her husband Ahn Jae Hyun.
Her character has been recast with actress Jang Hee Jin (Introverted Boss). She will appear beginning in episode 7.
You Are Too Much is about the rivalry and friendship between a girl (Jang Hee Jin) that dreams of being a celebrity who becomes an impersonator of a once popular star (Uhm Jung Hwa).
You Are Too Much airs Saturday and Sunday on MBC.
