"Designated Survivor: 60 Days" Reach Its Personal Best Rating!
According to the latest records of Nielsen Korea, the Korean drama broke its own record with a 5.434 percent nationwide rating compared to its past episodes where they got an average 4.9 percent rating.
Also, tvN is on the top when it comes to the highest-rated k-drama on this time spot, 21:30 KST which episodes air every Monday and Tuesday.
Comparing to the other channels such as KBS, SBS and MBC's Korean drama with the time spot allotted same with "Designated Survivor: 60 Days", MBC's "Welcome to Life", " Moments of 18" of JTBC and KBS 2TV's" I wanna hear your song" scored an average of 5.0 percent, 3.322 and 3.1 respectively for its viewership ratings nationwide.
For those who still have not watched the drama yet "Designated Survivor: 60 Days" is a political, conspiracy, and thriller-genre drama that is written by Kim Tae Hee and directed by Yoo Jung Sun which talks about the main character, Park Moo Jin, who was played by Ji Jin Hee, a former professor of chemistry and now holds the position of the Ministry of environment.
Though, he does not have any sense of having an ambition or having a personal belief as well as the sense to politics disregarding he is a politician.
One day, on a gathering that were participated by the high ranking officials for the President's State of the Union Address, a massive explosion takes place, that killed a lot of lives including the President.
Leaving with no choice, Park Moo Jin ( Ji Jin Hee) is the highest official left alive so he must take the position as an acting president. Though he does not want the position, Park Moo Jin tries to chase and search for the group of people behind this conspiracy and make them face the responsibility for the explosion and while he continues to try to know the truth, he grows as a promising National Leader.
