First Trailer for "Secret Boutique" is Finally Out
SBS's new Wednesday-Thursday drama entitled "Secret Boutique" has revealed an exciting trailer!
The teaser only lasts for 45 seconds. The beginning of the trailer shows a terrifying confrontation between a maid and Kim Yeo Wook, who will be played by Jang Mi Hee.
While displaying photos of a chained-up door, and a person sitting on a wheelchair falling on the side, Kim Yeo Wook says, "Between you, who just came here, and me, the house owner, who do you think people will believe in?"
The video then transitions to Jenny Jang changing her clothes in a dark room. Her voice-over then plays, saying, "In this world, there are people who live in two different times - those that live while moving towards the future, and others who live while still stuck in the past."
The clip further displays a glance into Jenny Jang's deep past. Kim Yeo Wook tells Jenny Jang, "The frail doe I brought here 20 years ago has vanished, and a 100-tailed white fox is placed in her spot," making the viewers wonder as to what their relationship might be.
The teaser concluded with Jenny Jang claiming, "There is no such thing as the next time in this place. You must survive now, no matter what! Even if it means manipulating and harming other people.
Ahead of the trailer, the drama's two teaser photos were first unveiled. Both images present a shadowy outline of the main character, Jenny Jang. The first photo shows that the actress is wearing a formal black outfit, complemented with matching hat and purse while walking down the aisle towards people in black.
The second picture, on the other hand, features Jenny Jang in the bathtub, in a room with only the sun rays coming from the window illuminating the inside. She is now wearing more casual clothes and appears to be closing her eyes.
"Secret Boutique" is scheduled to be premiered on September 18 at 10 p.m. KST. It will take over SBS's Wednesday-Thursday 10 PM time slot following "Doctor Detective."
