"Rookie Historian: Goo Hae Ryung" Shin Se Kyung's Journey as an Actress
The actress was recognized for her acting upon her appearance for various Korean dramas and films such as "Cinderella" which is a horror film she worked when she was 16 years old as an actress; she also appeared on "High Kick! Season 1 and Season 2", "Tree With Deep Roots", "Fashion King". "When a Man love" where she got an award for being the "Excellent Actress" of 2013 MBC Drama Awards.
She was also praised for her imminent role and outstanding acting skills for the dramas including "The Girl Who Sees Smells", "Six Flying Dragons", "The Bride of Habaek" and recently, she gained positive comments and feedback for her role on "Rookie Historian: Goo Hae Ryung" which wrapped up last September 26.
On her interview release this October 2 for the drama, she shared her thoughts and feelings about the drama as well as her role.
When asked why she accepted the role of the drama, Shin Se Kyung answered, "I felt like I found the work that I really wanted to do. " She explained that the show can open the eyes of the people for it features a difficult time for women to express themselves during the Joseon Dynasty.
"Of course, after seeing the script, I was convinced that I met the director and the writer, but I decided to work after watching the script and running to the star market."
Shin Se Kyung then asked to relate herself to her character as Hae Ryung and she answered, "There are many similarities, and there are many things that I resemble her. The frames in my mind are quite similar to her."
Furthermore, the actress talked about working with her love partner in the drama, Cha Eunwoo and she replied, " It was very fun. Cha Eun Woo's character and may sync very well."
"Watching his acting, I felt so natural and indistinguishable from reality. Our reactions came out naturally to in every scene as well as good synergy."
Meanwhile, Shin Se Kyung is currently enjoying her personal life and is resting after working hard for the drama and her next project is still unknown.
