“The Voice” Judge Adam Levine Believes No Marriage Before Meeting Behati Prinsloo (Photo/Video)
“The Voice” judge, Adam Levine is one tiger who once never believes on a wedding ring on his finger. But Us Magazine has noted that he’s one tiger to change his stripes after asking Victoria’s Secret model, Behati Prinsloo to marry him.
In July 2013, Levine popped the question to Prinsloo, which came as a big surprise to many knowing the Maroon 5 singer is not the marrying type. And when Levine stopped by “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno,” TV host Jay Leno, reminded Levine how he used to view marriage.
"I remember talking to you one time, you telling me you were never going to get married, and now you're engaged," the host was quoted as asking the 35-year old singer by Us Magazine.
The host continued, pressing Levine what changed his mind.
Leno continued, "Tell me what happened here."
"Famous last words: 'I'll never get married,'" Levine replied with laughter.
As if trying to convince Leno that he has not changed his mind about the idea of marriage, Levine explained what he believes is the best time for anyone to get married.
He noted, "You know, I still don't think you have to get married, unless you meet someone that makes you want to marry them. And then you marry them and it's wonderful."
Levine popped the question to Prinsloo just shortly after they got back together in July. The singer met with the model’s parents and he recently had dinner with them after they made their engagement public.
The couple hasn’t picked a date but Levine has not changed his mind about marrying the supermodel .
We're working on it," Levine said, noting that while he and Prinsloo are set on tying the knot, the couple are preparing for this year’s Halloween.
Levine added, "We're gonna do 'Eyes Wide Shut,' the kind of creepy masquerade thing.”
Levine has been engaged to Prinsloo since July 2013. They began seeing each other romantically in May 2012, just one month after Levine broke up with another Victoria’s Secret and Sports Illustrated model, Anne Vyalitsyna. Levine and Prinsloo broke up in March 2013 and rekindled their romance only in July 2013. At that time, Levine has just called it quits with another Victoria’s Secret model, Nina Agdal. Levine has been a judge for NBC’s “The Voice” since 2011.
