At about 6 PM KST, the female artist was discovered at her residence in the district of Cheongdam with no life. The Seoul Gangnam Police Station quickly did an investigation to know the cause of her sudden death. During their inspection at Hara's house, the police spotted a message they believe was written by the late singer.

Now, the police have given their conclusion after investigating Hara's passing.

At a press conference, the police stated, "A negative note about her life that was written by Goo Hara was found on a table in the living room. At 6 PM yesterday, the housekeeper saw Hara's body. And after connecting the on-site research and testimonies from family and comrades, we have concluded that there was no crime."

The police also said that after Hara arrived at her residence at 12:35 AM on the 24th, they saw no one who got into the house based on the CCTV footage.

Six months ago, Hara attempted suicide in her house in the Cheongdam area, Seoul. A night before that, she posted alarming messages on her Instagram, and one of those is an image with the word "Goodbye." Good thing, her manager was able to find and take her to the hospital immediately. It was reported that the manager saw Hara in a room with smoke everywhere. And after she regained consciousness, he quickly apologized to the fans for worrying them.

Last June, Goo is said to have spoken out about cyberbullying and asked for positive comments on social media since it was hard for her to overcome depression. And now, it has been only months later after she gave up and left the world without anyone being able to save her from what she has been going through.

Goo Hara is the second K-Pop artist who died this year, following her best friend Sulli, a former f(x) member who took her own life last October because of depression. Fans and celebrities who are close with Sulli are not yet over her unexpected passing, and now we have lost another idol whose death has again broken many people's hearts.

Hara debuted as a member of the five-piece girl group Kara in 2008. Kara was one of the bands that helped make K-pop known outside of Korea, after being able to build huge fan bases in China, Japan, and other countries. In 2016, the group disbanded after the members decided not to renew their contract with DSP Media. Goo then started her solo career, appearing on variety shows and starring in a movie.

The female singer had just released a new Japanese single "Midnight Queen" earlier this month and held a Japan concert tour from November 14 to 19 that took place in the cities of Osaka, Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Nagoya.
