G-Dragon and Dara belong in one agency, YG Entertainment. The agency has always denied the rumors about the two and so does the singers. G-Dragon once said that Dara is like a sister to him. In January 2017, BIGBANG had their 10th-anniversary concert and many celebrities came to watch. However, after the show, G-Dragon and Dara were spotted going home together. That particular scenario made an uproar that started rumors of their "relationship."
While fans were fully supportive of the two, YGE released a statement saying that there was nothing going on between them. YG's statement was "G-Dragon offered Dara a ride home and he planned the whole thing. What you saw in the photos was just a joke." However, fans didn't believe the statement. Who would pull a joke like that? Apparently G-Dragon and Dara.
After the rumor started, fans and netizens were quick to notice that the two artists always had matching things from clothing to accessories. They also have the same poses in some photos. G-Dragon then went on to date model Kiko Mizuhara. During the time that they were dating, fans were still speculating G-Dragon and Dara to be together.
