All About MBC's New Drama "The Game: Towards Midnight"
The new year is almost coming upon us and we have new romantic Korean dramas to start to get excited about that are premiering soon.
It was confirmed on the 9th of December the new drama of MBC starring Taecyeon, Lee Yeon Hee, and Im Joo Hwan. The drama will premier in January 2020. This series will follow-up the Wednesday to Thursday drama titled "Love with Flaws."
This story will revolve around a man who has a gift of seeing events just before the death of a particular person and a detective who investigates crimes whose death he is unable to see. They both will work together to expose a secret that is hidden.
Kim Tae Pyung is played by the actor Taecyeon who is a person with a mysterious power to see the deaths of others before it even happens. When Kim Tae Pyung looks into the eyes of a person dying, he is able to see the moments just before they die. He does not let his ability get in the way. He is still able to live a normal life trying to maintain his brave and lively energy. This drama is actually the first role that Taecyeon took after being released from the military.
Another cast in the upcoming drama is Lee Yeon Hee. She plays the role of a detective named Seo Joon Young. Her character in the movie is very charismatic and she is very discerning at crime scenes. Seo Joon Young's father died at a very young age and she was deeply scarred from that incident. Both actors Taecyeon and Lee Yeon Hee will be working with each other for the first time after several years since the film "Marriage Blue."
In addition, with them is Im Joo Hwan. He plays the role of a forensic medical examiner named Goo Do Kyung.The perfectionist but at ease man. This will be Im Joo Hwan second lead yet again! Hoping that one day he'll move back up to leading man status. Avid fans of this actor are still waiting! In this drama, he is called by the name "Four-week man" by his workmate Seo Joon Young as he said he will get back to her for the results in Four weeks whatever the case given to him was.
