Super Junior Heechul Opens Up About How Much Money He Spends On Gaming + Plays Together With Lee Min Ho

Kim Heechul, a Super Junior member opens up about his love for gaming.

Kim Heechul was the guest of the January 1st episode of "Radio Star." The talk show "Radio Star" is a radio program aired in South Korea. It's hosted by Kim Gura, Kim Gook-jin, and Ahn Young-mi. It airs on MBC every Wednesday at 11:10 PM KST. Its first episode was aired on May 30, 2007.

One of the previous guests in the show includes the famous League of Legends player Lee Sang Hyeok, who is more commonly known by his in-game name "Faker."

The main reason that Heechul decided to guest on the show was also because of the previous guesting of the League of Legends player Lee Sang Hyeok or "Faker." Despite having a lot of offers to appear on shows, Heechul has been declining the offers due to conflicting schedules.

He stated, "It was impossible for me to accept the invitations at first because of my hectic schedule. I had to cancel a Christmas party to be here today. One "of the reasons why I was eager to be a guest here is because of 'Faker.' He is considered a living legend in the gaming world."

The k-pop star was also asked if the rumors are true that he spends quite a huge amount of money on his gaming, he replied that he does not splurge on designer items, branded or expensive watches or even luxury cars. So most of his money is being spent on his gaming.

He added that the reason why he spends so much money on gaming is that if the game company does well financially, they can create more games. He explained that if they make more games, then he gets to enjoy a lot of different games as well.

Heechul went to explain that while playing his mobile games, he has already spent quite a hefty amount of 40 million won or approximately $34,640. Everyone was shocked by the amount he declared spending, including the hosts and other guests, were surprised. One of the show's hosts named Kim Gura then asked if it would be better to just buy a watch instead.

Which the k-pop star replied with, "Why? I can just look at the clock on my phone."

The debate on the show kept on going while everyone was talking about the value of spending money on game purchases, Heechul just said that even if he doesn't have a luxury sports car, his character drives a good car.

In addition, Heechul was questioned if he considers himself as a good gamer among the celebrities that are also involved in gaming, he confidently answered that he considered himself as one of top players in comparison with other stars that also play League of Legends.

The k-pop star also described how he plays with the famous actor Lee Min Ho. He said that he has always been rivals with Lee Min Ho. The two of them play the game with their microphones on, but the people who play this game have the tendency to blame other people a lot. When you die in this game, you blame someone else.

This means that they fight a lot when they play, but still they remain close friends.
