Actress Kim Hye Yoon Recently Shared Her Honest thoughts About Her Rise to Fame
Kim Hye Yoon shares her Struggles in the industry after debuting.
The young actress Kim Hye-Yoon was born on November 10, 1996. She was first known for her portrayal in JTBC's television series "Sky Castle" as Kang Ye-Seo. He had her first ever leading role in the drama of MBC titled Extraordinary You. Kim Hye Yoon debuted as an actress in the year 2013 in KBS2 TV Novel's Samsaengi as the teenage period of a supporting character.
After making a memorable role in 2014 OCN's thriller Bad Guys, the young actress gave her attention on her studies and only accepted made guest appearance for several works. She focused well on her studies since she received a full scholarship in 2015 to Konkuk University, one of Korea's leading universities. When she graduated college, Kim Hye-yoon then started to focus on her career and began auditioning for bigger roles. She auditioned for the JTBC's satire drama Sky Castle. The big success of the drama with her role as the as an unfriendly but ladylike high school girl who was full of ambition, raised her to stardom and made her take home the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards for Best New Actress.
In the year 2019, Kim starred as the leading character for the first time with MBC's school fantasy drama titled "Extraordinary You. The story is based on the hit Daum webtoon "July Found by Chance", in which she was awarded both New and Excellence Actress at the MBC Drama Awards.
This 15th of January on an episode of SBS's "Night of Real Entertainment," Kim Hye Yoon appeared on the show as a guest to have an exclusive interview.
On the show the MC questioned Kim Hye Yoon if she ever feels nervous or impatient? Given that she spent a fair amount of time appearing in minor roles.
The young actress then answered that She did felt nervous, and stated that this is not a job that has some annual exam or you are given the option to enter an agency as an intern, so it felt very unclear for her. It felt like her dream was really far away. She continued saying that, she felt so jealous of the people her age coming out on TV and doing well. There were a lot of times where she thought to herself, "What am I doing right now?" Then she added that, However, the people around her would tell her that, "Every person's luck is different. Timing is different for each person so don't get impatient and focus on going down your own path.'"
Upon appearing in over 40 projects as minor roles since her debut in 2012, Kim Hye Yoon was given a role in JTBC's hit drama "SKY Castle," her performance in this drama gained her a lot of praise from both her co-stars and the viewers. And after seven year from her debut the young actress achieved both the best new actress award and the popularity award in 2019 for her roles in "SKY Castle" and "Extraordinary You."
