Revelation of the Truth and Family Matters in 'Itaewon Class' Episode 10 Recap
Sae-roy is not alone in his fight to take down Jangga Group's CEO Dae-hee and his family. His friend Yi-seo has come as one of his allies. The drama shows how strong Yi-seo is in confronting Geun-won alone with her plan of exposing him. This scene will release justice what Park Sae-ro-yi hoped for his father.
Episode 10 was suspenseful and breathtaking. The continuous conversation with Yi-seo and Geun-won resulted in a heated conversation in the coffee shop. Yi-seo played on the phone and revealed the recordings of how Geun-won admitted his wrongful doings. This made Geun-won angrier and as he reached for the phone but Yi-seo grabbed it away. The intense hurling of words ended when Yi-seo threw a cup of coffee on Geun-won's face before storming out of the cafe.
Geun-won, however, managed to catch her and tried to snatch her phone. Upon reaching Yi-seo in a corner, Geun-won slapped her and she fell down. He demanded that she give the phone but Yi-seo was tough enough to refuse. She told him that he won't be able to hurt her. They are in public, in the heart of Itaewon, and people will come to her rescue.
Geun-won simply laughed at her and bragged that he has the money to silence anyone who would attempt to prevent him from his actions. Spectators within the premise then came out and called the police. Amidst the commotion, Park Sae-roy arrived and saved Yi-seo from the angry Geun-won. Both men were about to hit each other as they exchanged words about how one gets bullied, but a police car arrived before another scuffle ensues. Geun-won was about to leave but the people of Itaewon held him back.
The following day, Yi-Seo exposed the recordings without any hesitation on social media. This led Jangga Group's sales to plummet. One of the corporation's executives also asked Dae Hee to give up his current position as the CEO, expressing his worries that this controversy might taint the company's reputation.
Upon this revelation, one of the people who investigated Park Sae-roy's father's demise, confessed that everything was covered up. This account of him surprised everyone, resulting in the reopening of the case.
The anomalies put Dae-hee in the middle of choosing the power of holding the company or to prioritize his son's safety. He made another strategy on how he will remain in power and save his son from being subject by law for the crime. Armed with a plan, Dae-hee went to meet Sae-roy and discussed with him his plans to keep his son free.
JTBC's "Itaewon Class" airs every Friday and Saturday, running with 16 episodes. The 10th episode that aired on the 29th of February reached its highest ranking at 14.760 percent, according to Nielsen Korea.
