Episode 15 Recap: Park Sae-ro-yi Faces His Enemy in "Itaewon Class"

In the 15th episode of "Itaewon Class," Park Sae-ro-yi ended up in a hit-and-run accident, the same fate that happened to his father in the initial chapter of the drama. The gang beat Geun-Soo as he tried to fight them. Geun-Won, as planned, was waiting for the men to kill Sae-ro-yi. Geun-Soo contacted Seung-Kwon. As Geun-Soo fell again to the ground, he shouted over the phone telling Seung-Kwon that they were being kidnapped. A few minutes later the men heard the siren and they all went back to the car and left Sae-ro-yi, thinking that he was dead. The gang escaped the place bringing Geun-Soo and Yi-Seo with them.

Sae Ro-Yi was rushed to the hospital as the doctors tried to revive him. Seung-Kwon contacted Ms. Kang together with Mr. Oh and Soo-Ah came to the hospital. While everyone was waiting for the doctors, Seung-Kwon left the hospital and came back with documents. He only informed Mr. Oh about the pictures he got from the CCTV surveillance record where Yi-Seo was admitted and kidnapped. He did not tell the police and told Mr. Oh he wanted to settle first since he's familiar with the kidnappers.

The news of Sae-ro-yi met with an accident and in the hospital reached Chairman Dae Hee. He tried to look for Geun-Soo but nowhere to be found. The situation got Chairman Dae Hee thinking.

Meanwhile, Guen-Won with his men brought Yi-Seo and Geun-Soo to a warehouse. He tied them and he shared frustrations with Geun-Soo about why he chose to be in Jangga Co. and left Yi-Seo with Sae-ro-yi. Guen-Won hated Yi-Seo since it led him to a prison of what she knows. 

The doctors advised Ms. Kang and the rest as Sae-ro-yi is safe and is recovering from brain trauma and bone fractures. While he was unconscious, he dreamed of his father, embraced him and talked about their happy memories in the past. He shared with his father his struggles. His father asked him what he enjoys, to which Sae-ro-yi shared that he met good friends who he learned to treasure.

While walking, Sae-ro-yi asked his father where they would go. His father then asked him if he wanted to rest together with him. Sae-ro-yi embraced his father again and said he wanted to live a happy life with his good friends, telling him that he is choosing to live. His father smiled at him and told Sae-ro-yi how proud he is. He then walked as Sae-ro-yi looked at his father's disappearance.

In another scene, Seung-Kwon ended up in the police station as he showed them the pictures and a bruised face. Hyun-Yi and Soo-Ah arrived and asked him what happened. The women then knew who was behind the accident and who took their friends.

The following day, Soo-Ah met Chairman Dae Hee and showed him the pictures of Geun-Won carrying a big bag. She described how his son followed a dark path. Soo-Ah continued that Chairman Dae Hee's abandonment led Geun-Won to do terrible things. The chairman asked her to prepare a plan. Soo-Ah disagreed and accused him of the same thing he did when Sae-ro-yi's father was killed before handing her resignation letter.

As she was about to go out, she handed a recorded file of all the hidden anomalies of Jangga Co. Sae-ro-yi told Chairman Dae Hee not to cover up the incident. In the hospital, Sae-ro-yi woke up and cried heavily. Seung-Kwon looked at his friend with sadness and relief.

Meanwhile, Geun-Won contacted his father and told the warehouse address. Geun-Won told him he will finish everything and put Sae-ro-yi's life miserable. The gang met up with Geun-Won and there, they planned to kill Yi-Seo. Geun-Won messaged Sae-ro-yi that only his father knows the whereabouts of Yi-Seo.

Geun-Soo hit Geun-Won in the head when he entered the room, giving Yi-Seo and him the chance to escape. Geun-Won tried to stand up and go after them. Outside the warehouse, the gang surrounded Geun-Soo and Yi-Seo. This time Geun-Won told them to kill Yi-Seo. Geun-Soo held a bar as defense, while Yi-Seo ran away. The gang started to knock Geun-Soo down as he was outnumbered.

Sae-ro-yi faced Chairman Dae Hee in his house and asked for Geun-Won's hideout. The chairman then asked him to kneel before him. When he did, Chairman Dae Heel handed over the address.

Sae-ro-yi reflected on the struggles he and friends had to face to overpower Jangga Co. This time, he was ready to gulp his pride for the woman he loves.
