Lee Bo Young Desires to Be an Actress That Her Daughter Will Be Proud of

Before her comeback to the small screen, actress Lee Bo Young joined in a photoshoot for the April issue of the famous magazine Cosmopolitan.

Two years after appearing in the 2018 drama, titled "Mother," the actress is finally set to make her return through tvN's upcoming drama "When My Love Blooms," which means the happiest and most beautiful moment in life. 

Meanwhile, there is a film that goes by the same title and the actress was asked if her drama has any relation to it, to which she responded that there is none. 

This drama tells the story of a couple, both in their twenties, who are madly in love but had to break up due to unforeseen circumstances. Then, they meet again later in their lives. Their reunion made them reflect on their memories of their youth.

Lee Bo Young portrays the character of Ji Soo, alongside Yoo Ji Tae who plays Jae Hyun. Their younger version will be portrayed by Jeon So Nee and GOT7's Jinyoung.

Lee Bo Young commented that the characters they play are both healthy and fresh that she thought that it would have been fun to have seniors like them in school. She then asked the staff members of the drama if whether they had seniors like Jae Hyun at school right now but they said people like him were all taken to JYP, concluding her story with a smirk.

Lee Bo Young also shared that these days, she had started to rewatch many Disney films because of her daughter, but she feels that the generation nowadays has changed a quite a bit. The actress also discussed the bond she felt upon coming back with of a lot of her fellow veteran actresses, like Kim Tae Hee and Kim Hee Sun. She explained that while watching Kim Nam Joo in the drama "Misty," she began to have a thought in her mind that she wants to promote long enough so that when her daughter is grows older, she can definitely say that her mom does that kind of work.

The female star also continued that regardless of gender, the genres that an actor can portray decrease with age. But since there are a lot of good examples to follow, even if she ages she has gained confidence that she can do it too.

Lastly, she expressed that way back, while working in the industry, she honestly thought it to be too difficult. Since there are many role models doing it well now, she expects that she can act for a long time, too.
