"When The Weather is Fine" Recap: Eun-Seob and Hye Won Spend The Night Together

Myung Yeo has always been a cold-hearted, detached person towards her friends and family. The recent episode of When The Weather is Fine showed a flashback of Myung Yeo's on and off relationship with Yoon Taek. He is her only love since high school. Myung Yeo would tease Yoon Taek in breaking up whenever she feels like doing it. She has had a strong personality since the start. Yoon Taek, on the other hand, would always agree on what she decides. He cries a lot when she talks about breaking up. For the past 20 years, Yoon Taek put up with this.

They grew up and worked on their career separately. Myung Yeo became a famous author while Yoon Taek is now the chief editor of a big publishing company. One day, Myung Yeo told Yoon Taek to end their relationship. Yoon Taek thought this was one of the days that Myung Yeo would soon come back, she didn't, even if Yoon Taek insisted on starting over again.

One early morning, Eun-Seob (Seo Kang Joon) received a call from the landlord's daughter. They plan to take over the property of the bookstore. He used the land and house with no monthly rent. Eun-Seob packed his things and traveled to visit the owner's house. Mok Hye Won (Park Min Young) insisted on accompanying him.

During their trip, Hye Won started to talk about how she plans to end her life when her mother was sentenced to prison. During her high school years, she was bullied about her story. Eun-Seob shared his life with her. During the time he saw her at the train station was also his plan to visit his biological mother. He received a call from a lady requesting him to visit her as she was about to die, and she wanted to see his son. Eun-Seob never saw his mother since he was adopted, but on that day, he was near to ride the train and visit the woman on the phone. However, he didn't go because he kept on thinking of his parents who adopted him.

They arrived at the landlord's house. Eun-Seob asked the old landlord if he can start paying the rent and continue to stay on the property. The elderly stood up and asked Eun-Seob to follow him to the library. He showed Eun-Seob his collection of original and limited books in his mini-library. He told Eun-Seob to keep the house as long as he continues to sell and use it as a bookstore. Eun-Seob was relieved to hear from the old landlord. The elderly said that life is not only about money, and his daughter has changed a lot as she grows up. Eun-Seob thanked the old couple for their kindness.

Meanwhile, Jang Woo went out on a lunch date with a friend. They talked about their hobbies and parted ways afterward. Jang Woo went back to work, but Im Hwi saw him with the new lady. She took a picture and bribed Jang Woo to give him the copy in exchange for a tip. Jang Woo gave her a little money and asked her to delete the photo.

Joo Hee, one of the famous book authors, asked Yoon Taek to cancel Myung Yeo's contract, but Yonn Taek wanted to push through Myung Yeo's novel because he wanted to know Myung Yeo's past life. He wanted to know the reasons why Myung Yeo never came back to him.

Another flashback of Myung Yeo's life with her older sister Myung Joo was shown. Myung Yeo saw all the hardships her sister had with her husband. Jook Hong was a warm-hearted person, but when he got upset, he battered Myung Joo and lost his control. He started to beat Myung Joo, leaving bruises on her face and body.

Myung Yeo saw one afternoon his brother-in-law lost his temper and beat his wife hard. Myung Yeo rescued her sister by hitting Jook Hong. Her sister escaped, but Jook Hong was strong. He pushed the two women to the floor. He pulled Myung Yeo's hair and reached out for the hot iron. Just in time, Myung Joo saw it, she pushed her husband and fell down the stairs. They took the car, but Jong Hook stood in front of the vehicle, smashing the mirror. Myung Yeo hit the pedal and killed his brother-in-law.

Hye Won and Eun-Seob returned to the bookstore late at night. Hye Won offered to sleep in the same room with Eun-Seob. He felt happy, and they spent the night together.
