The "aging like a fine wine" star So Ji Sub and his now-wife, former newscaster Jo Eun Jung, are now officially married. This was also confirmed by the actor's label 51K, wherein both have registered their legal union on Tuesday, April 7.
Meanwhile, due to the current global health crisis, the couple opted to not have a ceremony.

Just after the public announcement of the union, So Ji Sub expressed his heartfelt message to his fans, where he shared his gratefulness to them.
His letter reads:
Hi, this is So Ji Sub.
Starting today, I am at another beginning stage in my existence with my mate.
As of April 7, I greet you as a head of of our family as we have already registered our marriage legally. I also wish to be more mindful of my upcoming roles as an entertainer.
You were most likely extremely stunned at the unexpected news, yet this is a choice that I came to after quite a while of genuine contemplations, so I trust that you will keep on applauding me and watch over me as you have for so long.

In May of 2019, the two broke their silence and confirmed that they are officially dating. Jo Eun Jung is 17 years younger than the actor, and they are one of the "May-December" love affairs in the industry.
Both first met in an interview with his film Be With You the prior year. Afterward, both bumped into each other once again through acquaintances, and the rest is history. 51K did not deny the rumor and revealed that both are in a serious relationship and could not confirm as to how long they have been together.
