"Rugal" Recap: The Rugal Team Strengthens Teamwork In Any Mission
Gi Beum was detained in a trailer by Deuk Goo's men but he managed to overpower his captors. Tae Woong and Gwang Chul headed back to help Mi Na as she escaped.
Meanwhile, Deuk Goo was furious with Ye Won's plans to eliminate him. He barged at Ye Won's house and strangled her. She survived by biting Deuk Goo's hand. Mi Joo came in and pointed a gun to Deuk Goo, trying to kill him. But Ye Won fast enough to control the situation to avoid chaos and let Chaitman Hyeon know the disputes.
The rest of the Rugal team looked for the trailer and followed its direction. Dr. Oh faced Deuk Goo and declined to do any procedures in creating another artificial eye to anyone.
Deuk Goo sent two trailer trucks to a festival park owned by Chairman Hyeon. He released numerous zombified men to create chaos and provoked the chairman. As they invade the park and kill the citizens, Deuk Goo enjoyed watching the videos in his house. He instructed to kill anyone that comes their way to stop them.
Tae Woong rescued Gi Beum and they ran towards the park as commotions continue. The Rugal team is now on the mission to get rid of the zombified men and protect the citizens. They performed as team infighting and executing their skills.
The incident in the park and the victims injured rapidly circulated in the media. Back in HQ, Geun Chul tried to delete all videos on the web, exposing the Rugal team to the public. Tae Woong needed to fix his right arm while Mi-Na got injured as Deuk Gook's men beat her. Geun Chul advised Mi-Na to recover first before she heads out again on the field. She requested not to stay longer and her emotions are in anger with what happened. Geun Chul reminded her to control her emotions and focus on what's the priority.
A flashback of Mi-Na's past was shown, which explained why she got involved with the Rugal team. Her father became one of the scientists in the headquarters and got killed with his experiments who escaped. Geun Chul worked with Mi-Na's father before they were all active. The headquarters put on stop when everything lost control. Geun Chul continued to operate it secretly and worked on special projects only.
Mi-Na pursued being a police officer in memory of her father. Though in her heart, she wanted revenge and in search of the man who killed her father. Things changed when she got involved and witnessed Deuk Goo's abusive power. She almost died under Deuk Goo's hand but Geun Chul rescued her and brought her to be a Rugal member.
Chairman Hyeon died through one of the explosions Deuk Goo initiated. A new leader emerged, yet Deuk Goo warned him to stay out of his way. He has more plans to scare the people and let everyone recognize what he is capable of.
Police and citizens are not safe even in public. Dead men are scattered everywhere to create fears. A dead man hung on one of the trees with a flag written, "I was killed by Gi Beum." The Rugal team saw it but couldn't do anything to keep their profile safe. Gi Beum's mind flashed through his wife's death.
