Actress Go Ara has officially announced that she will be joining the rising star Lee Jae Wook in KBS's upcoming romantic comedy series.

She is best known for starring in the television series "Sharp" (2003), "Reply" 1994 (2013), "You're All Surrounded" (2014), "Hwarang" (2016-17), "Black" (2017), "Miss Hammurabi" (2018), and "Haechi" (2019), actress Go Ara has officially announced that she will be joining the rising star Lee Jae Wook in KBS's upcoming romantic comedy series.

This 30-year-old actress and model previously auditioned way back when she was in junior high at SM Entertainment, and later on, she became SM Entertainment Teen Model in 2003 through a friend's recommendation.

Unfortunately, last year, she got hospitalized because her anterior talofibular ligament (in her ankle) ruptured while filming "Haechi." But nothing is stopping this talented actress from doing what she loves.

Meanwhile, one of the hottest young actors is on the rise, Lee Jae Wook. This 21-year-old actor will be taking his first lead role in the upcoming drama "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol."

You have probably seen him in these dramas, "Memories of the Alhambra" (2018), "Search: WWW" (2019), "Extraordinary You" (2019), and his recent drama series "When the Weather is Fine." This young actor captured a lot of attention for his impressive portrayal of the supporting role in "Extraordinary You." His acting showed how versatile he is and how he can give life to his characters.

Go Ara will be playing as Goo LaLa, a happy-go-lucky person. She is bright and simple, and her presence can evoke a positive atmosphere. She lives her life without fear, and the opinion of other people doesn't matter to her.

Goo LaLa is a pianist who grew up in a wealthy family. Unfortunately, she hit rock bottom.

Despite the circumstances she is experiencing, she continued to be positive. She landed in La La Land, a piano academy located in a small village. During her stay there, she will then meet a mysterious man Sun Woo Joon, played by Lee Jae Wook.

Sun Woo Joon doesn't seem to be serious about life. He has been working as a part-time employee. He is often misunderstood by many people due to the cold looks that he gives to people, not to mention that he looks messy. However, when he meets this lively Goo LaLa, his life starts to turn around.

Go Ara has always wanted to try doing rom-com. This will be a new challenge since most of the roles she played were more on romance and drama, which makes her excited to do this new project. She is also looking forward to that viewers will like her new character.

According to Lee Jae Wook, while he was reading the synopsis of "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol," he became curious. He finds the mysterious character of Sun Woo Joon to be appealing. Viewers will be seeing contrasting traits of being rough but delicate and cold but warm, making his character a little strange.

This drama is about finding love in the most unlikely places where two totally opposite people will find solace with each other.
Who would not want to fall in love with a mysterious and handsome guy in a small village?

The drama is set to premiere most likely in July of this year.
