Baek Sung Hyun is a debonair newlywed! Just recently, the actor celebrated his wedding with his girlfriend of four years in a small and intimate ceremony with their family and closest acquaintances.

On April 27, Baek Sung Hyun expressed that he still can't believe that he is already a married man. He continued that they'll live a good life by treasuring and loving each other. He took this marriage celebration as an inspiration that he'll greet viewers with a good project as an even better actor in the future.

In their wedding photos, the actor was in a neat cut suit and also in a Hanbok, Korean traditional clothing. His hair was styled up in a boulevardier manner. He exuded a soft charisma while he's lovingly staring at his gorgeous non-celebrity bride.

The newlywed couple dated for four years before announcing their wedding in early April.

Baek Sung Hyun made his first acting debut in 1994 with the film "I Wish for What Is Forbidden to Me" when he was just only five years of age. Since then, the child actor grew up onscreen, portraying some of the roles of a charming son in most MBC series, such as "See and See Again" in 1998 and "Ajumma," or more known as the "Housewife's Rebellion," in 2000.

Fast forward to his teenage years, the actor then played the younger versions of male protagonists in dramas, such as in "Damo" in 2003, "Stairway to Heaven" in the same year, which is considered as his breakthrough role, and in "Emperor of the Sea" in 2004. Some critics commented that Baek Sung Hyun's acting seemed more mature and romantic for his age.

Formerly, director Lee Joon Ik wanted to cast Baek Sung Hyun in his films "King and the Clown" and also "The Happy Life." However, it did not push through. Then, finally, Baek Sung Hyun got the chance to work with the renowned director in "Blades of Blood" in the year 2010. Lee Joon Ik shared that he cast Baek to portray the character of Gyun-ja, who stands in the middle of two main leads Hwang Jung-min and Cha Seung-won, for he considered Baek Sung Hyun as the only actor who can act as much as he can at such a young age. The director attested to the young actor's strong acting fundamentals.

Here are some other films and TV series of Baek Sung Hyun.
