"365: Repeat The Year" Finale Recap: Hyun Joo Changes His Fate To Keep Ga Hyun Alive

Lee Shin discovered for the past years and numerous resets Mr. Hwang manipulated for her to follow all his orders.

Lee Shin's daughter is sick, and no cure has been discovered to treat her sickness. To relive Young's life, Lee Shin gets back to her past life to be with her daughter again. Mr. Hwang, each year, invites people to be new resetters and witness their brutal death. Others may live and wish to go back to reset, or death comes first.

Hyung Joo and Ga Hyun remained to be good friends and tried to help each other to survive. In every reset, they joined in undoing their mistakes. They discovered the culprit and the accomplice. 

Hyun Joo and Ga Hyun visited Mr. Hwang's office to confront him. Instead, he left a letter for Hyung Joo. In less than two days, another reset will happen, and one of them needs to die to end the resetter's life and not complicate the group. 

Park Sun Ho joined Mr. Hwang's reset accomplice as a serial killer. But this year, he got caught by detective Joo and had been put to jail. Park Sun Ho aims to redo his mistakes and join the reset again. He escaped from prison and visited Mr. Hwang to finish his task. The last mission is to kill Hyun Joo and Ga Hyun.

Ga Hyun encountered Ms. Song and followed her activities. She discovered that Ms. Song is under Mr. Hwang's command, and that is to kill Young in the hospital at the exact time and date each year. Ga Hyun shouted for help, which led Ms. Song to run and is not able to inject the poison to Young's IV. The doctors checked Young's vital signs just in time Lee Shin arrives to check on her daughter. This year, Young survived and did not die, which surprised Lee Shin. Ga Hyun told her about Ms. Song's attempts to inject a vial, but she runs when she tries to approach her.

Lee Shin found Ms. Song in a remote place and confronted her about Young in the hospital. Ms. Song admitted for the past years before reset comes, Mr. Hwang instructed her to kill Young. By doing so, Mr. Hwang promises her to join and return to her previous life. Lee Shin felt the loss of the things she knew. Her daughter suffered as Mr. Hwang used her as a bait. 

Hyun Joo and Ga Hyun need to arrest Mr. Hwang before the reset date comes to stop the cycle. One hindrance is Park Sun Ho. He will protect Mr. Hwang and follow his orders to join again. 

Mr. Hwang knew that Hyun Joo and Ga Hyun would fight back, and he instructed Park Sun Ho to kill both of them before the reset date. Hyun Joo went to find Mr. Hwang and left Ga Hyun in her house. 

Lee Shin called Ga Hyun and advised her to run away as Park Sun Ho will arrive to kill her, but it was too late. Park Sun Ho came and abducted her inside her house. He stabbed and killed her. 

Hyun Joo arrived as he received the call from Ga Hyun. He entered the house and saw Ga Hyun lying at the coach holding up the blood in her stomach. He embraced her, which Park Sun Ho strikes again to stab him. Ga Hyun rolled over, and the knife hit her back. Ga Hyun risked her life to save Hyun Joo. He looked up and saw Park Sun Ho, and he strangled him back. Sun Ho was left unconscious on the floor. Ga Hyun died in Hyun Joo's arms that night.

The New Reset 

Hyun Joo seeks Lee Shin's help in his way through the reset. Lee Shin shared the information, and Hyun Joo made it happen. He gets back to the past year. The moment he gets to relive his previous life. He went to see Mr. Hwang in his office. He gave him the search warrant for all the murders and extortion, which would lead him to imprisonment. He arrested Park Sun Ho, who stays at Hwang's building in hiding. By doing so, Ga Hyun is safe and alive. Hyun Joo arrested both men before they planned to kill them both.

Hyun Joo visited Ga Hyun in her house. Ga Hyun saw him standing, and she called him. She asked him his name, and he, in turn, shared stories of his accomplishment visible in media. Hyun Joo felt at ease conversing with him and they also talked about her books.

Hyun Joo felt happy that she is alive. Time and fate allowed them to live together.
