Song Hwa and her resident doctors went out for a sumptuous meal after a long week of working at the hospital. They have formed a good working relationship and enjoy one another's company.

Ik-jun spent time with his son U-ju with his favorite "egg drop" sandwich shop. U-ju is likely a grown-up boy. Ik-jun enjoys their small moments together, and he also spends most of his time with Song Hwa as they eat their meals together in their clinic. Most of the doctors have a busy week with all their surgery schedules and meetings.

Suk Hyung always provides emotional support to all his patients. That is why he gets a lot of admiration from resident doctor Chu Min Ha.

Jung Won is having a hard time convincing his mother for his plan to pursue to be a priest. He only has until the end of the year to prepare and do what he needed before entering the seminary. Rosa (Jung Won's mother) felt sad knowing her only son will leave soon. She will not be able to be a grandmother and stays on her own as most of her children are servants of the church.

Jung Won asked Song Hwa to take over his foundation as he supports people with no funds to be treated with any illness. He plans to settle all arrangements before he goes to the seminary. The foundation is receiving a lot of donors as part of the VIP patients are in full occupancy. Ik-jun is working hard in treating and making successful operations. Song Hwa accepted the offer but felt sad knowing Jung Won will leave the hospital in the future.

Resident doctor Gyeon Chul has a big crush on Jung Won, but he tries to dismiss her presence, although Gyeon Chul always serves to assist Jung Won in his pediatric department. Jung Won is very close to his young patients. He worries when children get hurt when needles are used for IV's or medicine shots.

Jung Wan felt sad as Ahn informed them that Ik-sun (his girlfriend) is leaving Korea for her international studies in England. The scholarship is for three years, meaning they will not be seeing each other for a long time. Ik-sun doesn't want to marry anytime soon.

Resident doctor Do Je Hak saves one of his patients who wanted to die and denies getting any medical attention. He can't help thinking about what will happen if the patient dies. The head doctor Cheon doesn't want to do anything as well. Je Hak sought advice from Jung Wan, and he told him to insist on all his efforts to save the patient. Je Hak knelt and begged the patient to take his medication to survive. He pitied himself, but the rest of the doctors applauded his efforts.

This week, the band played a song that talks about love and hope. This time, Jung Won sings a part of the song, and Ik-jun felt happy to see his friend open up his mind about Gyeon Chul.

Suk Hyung's mother wishes to pursue her plans to divorce Chairman Yang. As the lawyer heads up to court, Chairman Yang was admitted to the hospital for a ruptured aorta nerve. Suk Hyung joined Jung Wan as they worked on the surgery. He is in a coma and low probability of living. Suk Hyung's mother decided not to proceed with the divorce.
