"Mystic Pop-Up Bar" Recap: Han Kang Bae Is Now Part of The Team

Weol Joo tries to convince Kang Bae to sign a contract, stating he will work in the bar as a part-time staff. Kang Bae read the terms and was skeptical about Weol Joo's plan. He declined the offer and went home. 

Kang Bae rented a small room from the owner Ms. Andong. She is kind and gives him food every time he's home and doesn't have time to cook. She invited Kang Bae for her daughter's wedding to Sun Hwa.

Weol Joo did not give in pursuing Kang Bae to work with her. She visited the supermarket cafeteria and brought food for Kang Bae and his colleagues. He was firm in declining the offer. Weol Joo went inside the grocery area and pushed Kang Bae to a group of customers where they all touched his body. They all started to confess their problems and almost crushed him. Kang Bae runs and hides while Weol Joo calls them to where he stands by. Kang Bae stops her and quickly agrees to work with her. 

Kang Bae started working at the bar that night with Weol Joo and Chief Gwi. Ms. Andong and Sun Hwa came in as they wanted to eat the grilled Mackerel. To his surprise, Kang Bae assisted them. Weol Joo signal Kang Bae to touch Ms. Andong, which he did.

Ms. Andong sits back and talks about her deepest problem in life. Sun Hwa has been her adopted daughter since she was a baby. Ms. Andong is responsible for Sun Hwa's mother's death, which she regrets for the rest of her life. Eun Su, the birth mother of Sun Hwa, is her good friend and assistant in her food shop. They work well until a man comes between them. Ms. Andong like Mr. Ko, but he chose to love Eun Su. It started her jealousy and planned to avenge Eun Su. Ms. Andong swayed Mr. Ko about a wrong rumor about his wife. He was furious and her. Eun Su runs after him, and a car hits her. 

Since then, Ms. Andong focused her life to take care of Sun Hwa and felt sorry for her friend. She works hard to support Sun Hwa and send her to school. She tries to find Mr. Ko, but she failed. Ms. Andong is suffering from cancer and in her terminal stage. 

Kang Bae felt bad and steal part of the magic drink from Weol Joo. He went to the hospital, where Ms. Andong was admitted. But it was too late. She died before they could get to her dreams. 

Kang Bae forced Weol Joo to help Ms. Andong. They plan to look for Mr. Ko and tell her about her daughter Sun Hwa. Ms. Andong's ghost spirit stayed at the bar while Weol Joo looks for ways to find Mr. Ko.

They searched and found Mr. Ko in a small village with dementia. He forgets about his family. Weol Joo, Kang Bae, and Chief Gwi get inside his dream and ignite his deepest memory of the past. Mr. Ko remembered his wife and a daughter he left behind. Weol Joo brought him to the funeral and met Sun Hwa. Ms. Andong felt happy and at peace to leave the living realm.
