"The World of The Married" Actress Kim Hee Ae Says She's A BTS ARMY
Top actress Kim Hee Ae is also a BTS ARMY!
Since the actress' hit drama "The World of The Married" is trending nowadays even after it already concluded on May 16, her past interview about BTS has resurfaced. It was an interview for her guest appearance on SBS's "Access Showbiz Tonight," which took place in 2019, wherein she revealed that she is an avid fan of the K-pop boy group.
During the broadcast, Kim Hee Ae was asked why she likes the said septet, and the actress replied, "Did you just ask me why I like BTS? Those who don't like BTS are strange."
When the host suggested they go to a BTS concert together, the actress responded, "No, if I go, I just will kill the mood. I should just show my support from the back."
Also, in the interview, Kim Hee Ae said that not only she listens to BTS music but she also finds all the members adorable and "soooo cute." She shared that one time, she got a chance to see their practice video where they were dancing, wearing their name tags, wherein they were still trainees. And from then on, she finds the members adorable.
They worked so hard and did their very best, and now they are successful. She added that it feels like they are her sons.

Kim Hee Ae was born on April 23, 1967. Apart from JTBC's "The World of The Married," the actress is also known for her leading lady roles in Korean dramas, namely "Perfect Love" (2003), "Sons and Daughters" (1992), "A Wife's Credentials" (2012), My Husband's Woman (2007), "Secret Affair" (2014).
Kim Hee Ae was born in Jeju City, and eventually, her family moved to Seoul. She was still in her freshman year in high school at Hyehwa Girls' High School when she was discovered by a younger brother of a teacher, who was working for an advertising agency. It was by chance that the teacher's sibling was visiting the school.
Through this, she landed her first modeling project, which is a commercial for a school uniform brand way back in 1982. This is considered as her debut activity in the entertainment industry.
Kim Hee Ae is married Lee Chan Jin, CEO of the web portal DreamWiz. They got married in 1996, and they are blessed with two sons. The actress's religion is Roman Catholic, and she was one of thirty Catholic celebrities who appeared in the 2014 music video for the digital single, "Koinonia." This is to commemorate Pope Francis's visit to South Korea, which is the first time in nineteen years a pope has visited Asia.
Kim Hee Ae's latest project was in the smash-hit drama, "The World of The Married," along with fellow veteran actor Park Hae Joon and rising star Han So Hee. The JTBC series is currently the highest-rated Korean drama in cable television history. Kim Hee Ae gained a lot of positive feedback for her acting performance as Dr. Ji Sun Woo.
