Park Bo Gum To Possibly Enlist In The Navy This August
Blossom Entertainment, the agency of actor Park Bo Gum, released an official statement on June 2 regarding the actor's mandatory military enlistment in the later time of this year.
Blossom Entertainment brought to light that the actor has applied to join with the navy military brand. Park Bo Gum was interviewed on June 1, and if he is accepted, he will be scheduled to enlist on August 31.
The actor's agency said that since Park Bo Gum processed everything silently, only a few people had the idea about his plan on enlistment, and even at the agency, only a few are aware of it. The agency added that the situation is still open for a change, depending on the result of the process. So, at the moment, details are still kept under wraps.
On the other hand, the upcoming film of Park Bo Gum titled "Seo Bok" is scheduled to air this year. The actor is also going to star in the movie "Wonderland" and the tvN drama "A Record of Youth."
Park Bo Gum was born on June 16, 1993. The actor became well known for his unique variety of roles in films, as in the television series. Many of viewers noticed his amazing talent in the projects, namely a genius Go player in "Reply 1988" (2015-2016), a psychopathic lawyer in "Hello Monster" (2015), a free-spirited man who falls for an older woman in "Encounter" (2018, and a Joseon Crown Prince in "Love in the Moonlight" (2016).
