WATCH: Kang Sung Yeon "Knows Everything” in the 2nd Teaser for the Upcoming MBC Drama
MBC's "She Knows Everything" dropped its second teaser, showing Kang Sung Yeon as Lee Goong Bok, asking, "Who is the suspect in the Yang Soo-Jin case?" Then, the dead body of Yang Soo Jin is seen lying on the ground with wide eyes wide open, and Lee Goong Bok visits the police station in the last part.
The teaser shows a part where Seo Tae Hwa (Kim Do Wan) angrily smashes a car with a baseball bat, followed by another scene where he is harassing Yang Soo Jin (Park Shin Ah) in the dark, threatening her life.
The next part reveals that the smashed windshield of the car belongs to Lee Myeong Won (Lee Ki Hyuk). Also, a small portion showed Lee Myeong Won holding an umbrella so that Yang Soo Jin won't get soaked in the rain. In another scene, Lee Myeong Won is beating someone unconscious but did not show the face.
In the first teaser, Lee Goong Bok, a resident of No. 1004 of Gung Apartment, said, "Did I kill Soo Jin? Soo Jin was a family to me." Then, some residents are seen shouting that Tae Hwa followed Soo Jin to her apartment.
"She Knows Everything," also known as "Miss Lee Knows," remains a mystery when someone's death was discovered in an apartment with ongoing renovations. Lee Goong Bok is a real estate agent who lives in the same apartment, and people call her "Mitsuri." She is also called as the "Queen of Ogee" because she always participates in all major events in the complex.
On the other hand, Lee Goong Bok will meet the veteran detective In Cheol Ho, played by Jo Han Sun. In Cheol Ho will be in charge of the mysterious murder. Although they reluctantly joined forces to uncover the truth with the hope of catching the killer, the two teamed up.
You will see a new side of Kang Sung Yeon as someone who captures the viewers through her charm but with the hint of being mysterious, deeply involved in the bizarre murder.
In 1996, Kang Sung Yeon debuted as an actress through MBC's Open Recruitment. She also showcased her vocal prowess as she released two albums under the stage name Bobo. She was highly recognized when she played as the concubine of Prince Yeonsan in the period film "King and the Clown," which was the highest-grossing domestic film in 2005. She continued to star in several television dramas.
The actress is married to jazz pianist Kim Ka-On and they have a son.
Meanwhile, her co-actor Jo Han Sun debuted in 2001 in a beer commercial. He gained recognition and became a household name through the sitcom "Nonstop 3" and the television series "April Kiss." The films "Temptation of Wolves," "Cruel Winter Blues," and "A Better Tomorrow," the 2010 remake of the "Hong Kong" were among his best films.
"She Knows Everything" is set to premiere on July 1, 2020, with back-to-back episodes running for only two days, where the last two episodes air the next day. The drama series will follow "Kkondae Intern," which airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:30 p.m. KST.
