Weol-Joo remembered the poetic lines from the crown prince whom she loathed for the past 500 years. She runs back to Mystic Bar and attempts to know the true identity of Chief Gwi.

She tried to persuade Chief Gwi if he is the crown prince's spirit, but he was quick to deny and pretended that he knew nothing about it. He left the bar and explained he will buy the items needed instead.

Kang Bae felt relieved knowing that Weol Joo won't go to hell after she completes her task. Chief Gwi will sacrifice his soul for her. He was excited to share about his blossoming relationship with Yeo-rin. Chief Gwi is aware that Weol Joo knows by now who he is. Kang Bae explained to her about the love tips that Chief Gwi experienced.

They went out on their first date, and as she tried to hold hands with Kang Bae, a dark voice echoed, a voice that prevents her from getting closer to Kang Bae.

Back in the bar, Weol Joo confronted Chief Gwi why he had followed her and watched how she suffered for the past hundred years. She received her punishment because of their past. She finds it hard to forgive him and the queen.

Chief Gwi holds the soul of the crown prince that Weol Joo deeply loved. On the night he wanted to propose, Weol Joo did not arrive at their meeting place. She ran away when her mother died, and their house was set on fire in the hands of a traitor Won-Hyung. It was the same night that Weol Joo committed suicide at the sacred tree that cursed her for the past 500 years.

Won Hyung is the loyal friend of the crown prince. He tried to form an army and go against the royal family, but the crown prince knew what he did. He beheaded Won Hyung in front of the royal court as he exposed his plans against the crown.

In the present time, Won Hyung escaped the afterlife and tried to prevent Weol Joo and Chief Gwi's reunion. Won Hyung possessed his father's body as the Grim Reaper to get near and spy on the couple.

He needs to stop Weol Joo from completing her task. Most of all, he wanted them all to be sent to hell to suffer, just like what he did. He killed the queen's reincarnated soul to make Chief Gwi suffer.

Chief Gwi found out that the queen died and wasn't able to make amends with Weol Joo. He talked and met with Yeombonjang (Won Hyung in spirit). He got confused as to who killed the queen and they never knew the real story.

The next day, Chief Gwi visited the funeral and met Weol Joo paying her respect. They decided to talk and confessed about their past life. Chief Gwi shared that he traveled and made everything happen to be with her. He wanted to protect and stay at her side, which he missed doing in their past lives.

He also shared the true story of how her mother died and that he ended his life as well to follow her path. Weol Joo cried and apologized to Chief Gwi for her wrong judgment about his past.

That very moment, Chief Gwi gave a ring to Weol Joo that he kept for a long time. The engagement ring that signifies their love and peace to their old soul.

As they opened the bar for their customers, Kang Bae saw how happy and smiling Weol Joo and Chief Gwi together. He teased him, but Weol Joo shoved him to go out and call for customers. Chief Gwi went out as well.

Yeombonjang (Won Hyung in spirit) arrived and came into a heated argument with Weol Joo. He strangled her and almost choked her to death. Kang Bae returned to the bar and saw Yeombonjang's hand on Weol Joo's neck.

Kang Bae tried to stop him, but his magic powers pushed Kang Bae to the far end. Weol Joo's face turned red as Yeombonjang was bound to kill her. A loud voice saying "stop" shook the whole place. Kang Bae stood up while his body was covered with fire.
