[Confirmed] Kim Bo Ra and Jo Byeong Gyu Have Ended Their Relationship
Kim Bo Ra and Jo Byeong Gyu had a relationship that a lot of people wished they would have a long and lasting one. Unfortunately, after 18 months of dating, they chose to part ways.
An exclusive report from Sports Donga on August 3 stated that the now-former "Sky Castle" couple has broken up, and the reasons for this are their busy schedules. It was also reported that they decided to be friends again. It was a natural decision and because they drew to drift apart and ultimately break up because of their tight schedule at work.
As the reports reveal the couple's decision to split, Kim Bo Ra's agency Moment Global confirmed the report and released a statement about the current status of their relationship.
"With their busy schedule, the two drifted apart, and they recently broke up. They decided to remain, good friends and colleagues," said Moment Global
Jo Byeong Gyu's agency did confirm the reports of the recently-ended relationship and for the same reasons.
In February 2020, Jo Byeong Gyu admitted in one of his interviews that he was dating Kim Bo Ra. Though he was careful to provide details about their relationship, there was no other reason to hide it.They tried to stay quiet about their private life, but the camera caught them while going out together in public. Rumors about them then began to arise.
According to the actor, the rumors made them closer, and it started to made them feel awkward and until it became a source of their romantic interest. The ex-couple didn't have any plans to announce their relationship, but as the paparazzi caught them, that was the start of ending their friendship and starting a romantic one.
The young actors became co-stars in one of the to-rating K-dramas in history, "Sky Castle." Though they never dated during the course of filming the series, it happened after the show and progressed to a deeper relationship.
What saddens the fans is that they are open to admitting to the public that they have ended their relationship as easy and faster than being open about their relationship at the beginning.

Kim Bo Ra, of the same age as Jo Byeong Gyu, is set to star in "Touch," an upcoming drama of MBC's "SF8" project.
