Sung Dong II Reunites With "Reply 1997" Daughter Apink's Jung Eun Ji in "House on Wheels"
On August 13, "House on Wheels" featured Apink's Jung Eun Ji and happily reunited with Sung Dong Il, her father in the hit series "Reply 1997," after eight years!
Veteran actor Sung Dong Il is proud and happy to invite and be with Apink's Jung Eun Ji on the set.
Prior to the singer-actress visiting the set, Sung Dong Il made his courtesy call and invited Jung with excitement. He is proud in relaying to Yeo Jin Goo and Kim Hee Won how the memories he had with his past onscreen daughter.
In one of the early episodes of the show, Sung Dong Il can be heard calling Jung Eun Ji and as soon as the actress heard his voice, Jung Eun Ji called him, "Dad," while Sung Dong Il replied, "My daughter."
In the hit drama "Reply 1997," the two actors kept on fighting with each other, but in reality, they have the strongest bond together. According to Sung Dong Il, he could never get to hate his daughter and love her honesty as always.

As Jung Eun Ji arrived on the mobile home, she helped with setting up the tent and carrying wooden platforms. Kim Hee Won was amazed and commented that Jung is doing some heavy lifting with them. Sung Dong II said, "Jung made 'Reply 1997' a success due to her hardwork and determination."
Jung Eun Ji wore her comfortable clothes and showed off her great chemistry with the three hosts.
As they settled in and enjoyed the nice view of the lake, Yeo Jin Goo shared that he enjoyed listening to Jung Eun Ji's song "Hopefully Sky." Sung Dong Il mentioned that Jung Eun Ji wrote the song making her father an inspiration.
Jung Eun Ji shared that a few days ago she held a streaming online concert for the first time. And she felt happy this time his father was able to witness her perform online. During the past, her father cannot watch her previous concerts since he is working overseas. She felt glad that he made to watch it now.
The show always made their guest feel at home and enjoyed the simple things they all do together. They all went out to buy ingredients for their dinner at a local store.
While on the move, Sung Dong Il called PD Shin Won Ho and asked him how Jung Eun Ji joined the cast. She was 20 years old back then and no acting experience. Shin Won Ho answered Sung Dong that during that time, Jung was the only girl who speaks the dialect fluently. During the audition, she made a good performance.
Although Jung Eun Ji didn't have prior acting projects but according to Shin Won Ho it was good to put a new fresh face on the show. Most importantly she was able to know the real dialect and has charm while acting.
As for their dinner, Jung Eun Ji cooked soybean stew for everyone, while Sung Dong II brought out the tripe as one of Jung Eun Ji's favorites.
