In case you are not aware, the American entertainment company Sony Pictures is currently on the process of producing an upcoming Marvel Comics superhero themed film titled "Silk." As of the moment, the lead actress of the said films has yet to be announced.
The protagonist character of the said superhero film is a Korean woman named Cindy Moon.
This character first appeared in "The Amazing Spider-Man #1" way back 2014. Cindy Moon is a girl who has been bitten by a spider, in which some may say that she is the female version of Peter Parker (Spiderman). And since the character is a Korean American woman, multiple international media outlets have mentioned Korean stars Bae Suzy and Park So Dam to portray Cindy Moon (lead role) possibly.

Cindy Moon is known to possess the same abilities as Peter Parker of Spiderman when she was bitten by the same radioactive spider that gave Spiderman his abilities. The difference is that Cindy Moon's spider-sense (dubbed by her as "Silk Sense") is stronger than that of Peter's. When the two characters first met, it was noticeable that she was much faster than him. But when it comes to strength, she's not quite as strong as Spiderman. She also has the ability to shoot webs out of her fingertips, and she has an eidetic memory.

The international media outlet further explained that Park So-dam to portray Cyndi Moon of 'Silk' would be able to capture Western viewers by leading the TV series alone. The said actress is considered as one of the strong choices in terms of acting ability. She who debuted in the movie "Black Priests," and eventually became known worldwide for winning four Academy Awards by the highly acclaimed film 'Parasite.' They have also selected Korean celebrity Bae Susie from the girl group Miss A as a strong candidate for the role.
The international media outlet stated that the language barrier is one weakness. However, it won't be a big problem since there is a lot of time to prepare for the role while the production is still on process. Some have predicted that if there will be no problems with the language barrier, then definitely Park So Dam and Bae Suzy are the strongest suitable actresses to portray Cindy Moon.

They were: Chinese actress Tiffany Espenson who previously portrayed the character in 'Spider-Man: Homecoming,' Arden Cho, who has been widely known for several Hollywood movies, and Vietnamese actress Lana Condor, who is best known for her Netflix series 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before.'
