Kim Gyu Ri Reminisces Times She Didn't Have Money Or Network

Actress Kim Gyu Ri reminisced times her appearance in movies were cancelled.

On the latest episode of SBS PowerFM "Gong Hyung Jin's Cinetown," Kim Gyu Ri made an appearance as a guest for her latest movie, "I Love You, Jin Young."

On this episode, Kim Gyu Ri, while talking about the movie character Jin Young, who doesn't have money or network to get a job, confessed, "I in fact don't have any money or network (of people to help me find a role in movies)."

When DJ Gong Hyung Jin asked, "Did you, like Jin Young, have times when you couldn't film the movies you wanted to," she said, "A lot."

Kim Gyu Ri added, "Once I was notified a day before the filming that the contract has been canceled. Another time, I was sent home by the director even after getting introduced to all the actors and having done the script readings."

"This was only three or four years ago. The director said he casted me, but couldn't let me work because of the higher-ups."
