Lee Dong Wook and Kim Bum's Intense Fight on “Tale of The Nine-Tailed” Catches Viewers' Attention
Lee Dong Wook and Kim Bum have an intense encounter in the newly released stills of the tvN fantasy drama "Tale of the Nine-Tailed."
"Tale of the Nine-Tailed" is a mythical drama about a male gumiho (a nine-tailed fox) named Lee Yeon (Lee Dong Wook). Lee Yeon has settled in the city, living and blending in amongst human beings and a strong, courageous producing director named Nam Ji Ah (Jo Bo Ah) who has a goal of tracking down and catch the gumiho.
Another cast in the drama is actor Kim Bum who portrays the character of Lee Rang, who is the half brother of Lee Yeon. He is the child of a human and a gumiho. Lee Rang will be a naughty, misunderstood character in the drama.

Ever since the drama's premiere, we have witnessed Lee Yeon and Lee Rang's character showcasing different charms. Lee Yeon possesses a charming and powerful charisma, and Lee Rang, on the other hand, showcased his ability to transform into a human form. Lee Rang is continuously provoking Lee Yeon, which resulted in a deep tension between the two half brothers.
Knowing that Lee Yeon is patiently and desperately waiting for the reincarnation of a woman named Ah Eum when Lee Rang used this fact to plan a scheme against him, Lee Yeon told Lee Rang that he's just suffering from a "brother complex."
Lee Rang proclaimed his anger and hatred to Lee Yeon for leaving the mountain and his position as its guardian spirit because of a woman. As a response to this, Lee Yeon stated, "That's right. I turned my back on you."
In the drama's newly released snippets, it seems that there is a sudden fight between the half brothers. Lee Yeon's expression is emotionless while Lee Rang angrily charges into Lee Yeon like a crazy animal. His expression shows like there is something up his sleeves. They released their mythical powers in this duel and turned the place upside down.
It was revealed that this particular scene was shot way back in June, and before the filming of this scene started, both actors practiced coordinating their movements. They were able to show perfect teamwork and were able to amaze the staff on set.
The drama's production teams expressed that since both main characters, Lee Dong Wook and Kim Bum, have been familiar with each other for a long time and can portray the complex emotions between the two brothers in a very natural way.
